cutting edge conference in new orleans has been a staple of the NOLA music community for 20+ years. I was beyond excited to have been asked to participate in a panel discussion alongside david catching, lewis texidor and gregory ferraiolo moderated by diego pinzon. the gist of this panel was i think to talk about music technology and its changing application as the music industry and tech industries move through such a rapid evolution - i focused instead mainly on trying to convince people to delete their spotify accounts.
panel discussions for me have always been quite anti-climactic and generally pretty stiff, so it was great to be able to sit with friends like david and lewis who were both very much of the 'let's make this fun' mindset with me.
