I think this project concept started maybe 2 years ago? I don't know if admitting that it took 2 years to produce 17 minutes of music is a great thing but here we are! I'm super happy to be writing this post DEAD OCEAN EP is done and available through this very website. get it now. go download it.
the record started as another record (more to come on that) but after making some progress on the tools (sequence etc) the whole workflow changed drastically - i sold the majority of my equipment, consolidated everything into a modular rack and this EP was born.
this was recorded by paul solo at STANDARD Audio Recorders in Lake Arrowhead, CA. It sounds kind of insane. Hope you enjoy it. for now the release is going to be contained to this website, but it'll head out to streaming and other platforms in the next month or so.
gonna do a list of thanks here which is also on the album page, but seriously thank you everyone for helping with my stupid ideas: britt e, tony w, derek c, misha m, troy vl, david c, rick f, naomi m, valhalla amplification, echopark guitars, merlin guitar co, klang, ampsamps, breakfast audio, red panda, old blood noise - you all fucking rule.
xoxo
